BUILDING CONTRACTING SERVICES

Building Your Vision

Our Service

We are here to help, this is where we start on every project. Navigating through a project from a small extension to a large new build home is difficult and without experience it invariably takes longer than expected and goes over budget, how do you think Grand Designs has been on the television for so long!

We are dedicated to suppling professional contracting service that serves the client whether you’re spending £1m on a new home or £100,000 on an extension. The same disciplines apply in making sure the works are undertaken safely, efficiently and on budget.

At Kierish we have a team of construction professionals that have worked in the construction industry for a combined 120 years. We have undertaken large high specification homes, commercial works, medium sized new home developments of 5-12 dwellings and small to large extensions for clients around the South East of England.

Please look through some of our previous projects which shows an array of expertise.

Reigate, Surrey

Kierish were commissioned to undertake a large rear extension and internal remodelling works to a detached 4-bedroom home in Surrey. The finishes on this project were of the highest quality, which involved specialist decorative handmade coving, specialist herringbone flooring to liaising and working with high-end kitchen supplier Smallbone.

Burghfield, Berkshire

This project involved a massive remodel and extension to an existing bungalow. The works consisted of removing the roof and constructing a new floor to turn the bungalow into a 2-storey house. This meant underpinning works were needed to the foundations to ensure they were adequate to take the extra weight of a new storey. Every room in this home was stripped back to the bare block and renewed. The end result was fantastic, and the client was thrilled with their new home.

West Byfleet, Surrey

Kierish were employed to undertake a whole house remodel that included a side extension and an extension that connected the existing house to the double garage. The client had very specific requirements that incorporated Japanese culture and design. One of the highlights of this project was the Japanese bathroom, which had some very specific design and sanitaryware specifications which meant a bath could stay super-hot for a period of up to two hours!. The client was thrilled with the results, especially their much-loved bathroom.

Little London, Hamsphire

These works consisted of demolishing an existing house and replacing it with a new detached 4-bedroom property. This was originally for Kierish Homes, however the architect who helped us design the property liked the finish and property so much he decided to purchase it himself. We then completed various extra works to help the architect personalise the home before completion.

St Leonards Church

This was an extension to create a new meeting hall and kitchen for the church. It had to carefully match in with the existing flintwork of the 900-year church, the church and the new extension were connected by a modern glass walkway giving a great contrast in modern vs traditional finishes. This extension also had the unusual challenge of being adjacent to a moat, so careful consideration was needed when designing and working on the foundations. The works were completed on time and on budget for the clergy to enjoy.

Baughurst, Basingstoke

Kierish undertook works to completely renovate and extend a home to create a £1.65m new 4-bedroom dwelling with a semi sub-terranean indoor swimming pool. This project was fantastic work to undertake and interesting from start to finish. Designing and engineering the specification for the sub-terranean swimming pool was a great experience and not something you get to do every day!

Northmoor Rd, Oxford

This project was a complete newbuild Kierish was commissioned to build in the prestigious location of Northmoor Road in Oxford. The client had a specific vision which Kierish helped the client to achieve. Traditional materials and specialist craftmanship were used to achieve a truly spectacular home.

St Neot's School, Eversley

This project was a complete newbuild to create a new 4 bedroom detached property within the grounds of the school for the Head Teacher on a design and build basis. We worked closely with the client’s surveyor and the client to ensure they got the property they wanted, and the result was a wonderful mix of traditional features with modern twists.
